How is ‘satta bazaar’ betting on the Assembly elections of 5 states?

Uttar Pradesh: With only few hours to assembly election results, the buzz in the ‘satta bazaar’ is at its peak. As per sources, the majority of the assembly polls will be bagged by Bhartiya Janta Party which would form the government in most of the states. Therefore, the lowest bid has been kept for BJP. What are the state-wise bids? Uttar Pradesh:
  • One would get Rs 1-2 lakh if BJP gets 193 seats or more
  • Also, if BJP gets anything less than 193, then one wouldn’t get anything and would lose all his money
  • One would get 2 lakh rupees in lieu of a lakh, if Samajwadi Party gets 123 seats or more
  • If SP gets anything less than 123 seats, then one would have to let go off all their money
  • The bid for BSP has been kept higher than BJP and SP, therefore if BSP gets 67 seats or more, one would get 2 lakh rupees in return of 1 lakh
  • Likewise, one wouldn’t get anything if BSP gets anything less than 67 seats
  Punjab:
  • The bid in Punjab has been set for Rs 55-57 for Aam Aadmi Party and Congress
  • If Congress or AAP get anything above 55 seats, then one would get double the money in lieu of 1 lakh rupees
  • But, no rate has been set for BJP in Punjab
According to the one’s betting in Gujarat, BJP would back 212 seats and SP would get 130 seats. ABP News Image How is ‘satta bazaar’ betting on the Assembly elections of 5 states?
