The CBI has raided former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik's premises among multiple locations in connection with the Kiru Hydroelectric project case.

The CBI has raided more than 30 places, including the premises of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik, as part of its investigation into alleged corruption linked to the awarding of a Kiru Hydroelectric project contract in the UT, news agency ANI said citing sources.

Raids were conducted in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Mumbai and Haryana on the former governor and his close aides.

The agency has booked the former chairman of the Chenab Valley Power Projects (Private) Limited, Navin Kumar Chaudhary, former officials M S Babu, M K Mittal and Arun Kumar Mishra and Patel Engineering Limited.
