As per IANS, an AIIMS doctor said that the veteran Bihar politician is down with fever and drowsiness, but his condition doesn’t look serious as of now.
He has tested negative for dengue, malaria, and typhoid, but has been kept under the doctors’ close observation, IANS sources said.
His condition is not serious and is stable, news agency PTI reported its sources as saying.
This comes after Lalu Prasad Yadav returned to Delhi following the bypolls campaign in Bihar wherein RJD lost the contest in Kusheshwar Asthan and Tarapur as it went solo for the first time in several years.
Tejashwi Yadav had taken the decision to part away from Congress for the bypolls to the two seats.
Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav had earlier hit out at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar stating that the chief minister should be ashamed at the ‘poor’ rating of the state in the recently released Niti Aayog report.
“NITI Aayog report says that the state is lagging behind from education to health. They used to give the slogan of development, now this report has come. Chullu bhar paani mein Nitish Kumar ko doob jana chahiye,” the RJD supremo had told reporters in Patna before leaving for Delhi, as quoted by ANI.
More details about the health condition of the former Bihar chief minister are awaited.
