Farmers Protest: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently made a major announcement saying that the government has decided to withdraw all three farm laws. He also said that a committee will be formed to consider issues related to MSP.
After so many days of the announcement, a committee has now been formed, but there is suspense over when the agitation will end.
The members of the committee include Balbir Rajewal, Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, Shiv Kumar Kakka, Yudhavir Singh, and Ashok Dhawale. SKM says that if the government accepts what they say, the agitation could end in 3 hours. Farmer leaders are saying that if the government accepts their points, a solution can be found in three hours, while some farmer leaders say that there will be no homecoming without a law on MSP.
SKM has formed a commitee to discuss remaining demands with Govt.

Pls note - these names are not for MSP Committee as asked by Govt. It is to discuss pending demands from our letter to PM.
Farmers are adamant on these demands
The major demands on which the farmers are adamant include the guarantee law on MSP, withdrawal of cases registered during the agitation, and demand for compensation to the families of 700 farmers killed in the agitation.
The farmers have made their point, but now all eyes are on the government's invitation. According to sources, the government is also keen to talk soon. For this, a phone call was also made to the farmer leaders. The question remains how many demands the government will accept and whether farmers will be ready to return home.
