EXCLUSIVE | AAP's Arvind Kejriwal Counters Channi's 'Bhaiya' Comment, 'RSS B-Team' Tag, 'Separatist' Remark Ahead Of Punjab Polls
Kejriwal On ABP: On Kumar Vishwas' separatist statement, Kejriwal said, "If I have been planning such for 10 years as alleged then why didn't PM Modi or other govt agencies took action against me?"
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress just days ahead of the Punjab assembly election 2022.
Speaking to ABP News in an exclusive interview, Kejriwal countered the "Bhaiya" remark used by CM Channi and also said Congress and BJP are speaking the same language against him.
A controversy had erupted when Punjab CM during a poll campaign asked the people of the state to stand together and reject the "Bhaiyas" from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Bihar.
Replying to this statement, allegedly targetted at AAP, Kejriwal said, "I do not know at whom the Bhaiya remark was targetted at."
"In order to do politics, CM Channi has left the Guru's way of being together," he told ABP News.
Kejriwal's Reply On Kumar Vishwas' 'Separatist' Statement
Kumar Vishwas, one of the founding members of the AAP, alleged that Delhi Chief Minister has separatist ambitions for Punjab.
Replying to these allegations, Kejriwal said: "They have no idea what kind of impact these statements do (separatist comment) on community. It divides the nation. If I have been planning such for 10 years as alleged then why didn't PM Modi or other govt agencies take action against me?"
"They (opposition parties) are calling me terrorist for gaining vote bank," Kejriwal added.
"I want to ask these parties what have they done so far? Akali Dal, Congress all calling me a terrorist as part of the poll agenda. If they would have worked for people during their regimes they would not have stooped for such antics," AAP leader told ABP News.
On Priyanka Gandhi's RSS Remark
Priyanka Gandhi called PM Modi and Kejriwal "bade miyan, chhote miyan" and said that "both have emerged from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
"Ask those who are alleging AAP emerged from RSS. Congress says we are RSS' B team and BJP says we are Congress' B team. Only they can tell," AAP's national convener refuted such allegations on the party during ABP News interview.
"I only have one national ambition: To end corruption in the country. I don't have other national ambition," Kejriwal concluded.
