Delhi To Decide Whether I Am Terrorist Or Son: Arvind Kejriwal Hits Out At BJP

The AAP National Convenor's remarks come in response to BJP MP Parvesh Verma allegedly calling him a "terrorist" at an election rally.

New Delhi: Reacting to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Parvesh Verma’s “terrorist” jibe, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave an emotional address and said that he was deeply offended by the remark and shall approach the Election Commission over it. The Aam Aadmi Party chief said he has left the decision on the people of Delhi if they consider him their "son or a terrorist". He said that he would meet the CEC and demand strict action against BJP MP Parvesh Verma. Speaking to the media, he said he had left his job as an India Revenue Service officer to fight against corruption. "Does any terrorist do that?" "BJP is calling me a terrorist. In last 5 years, I've considered every child in Delhi like my own and arranged quality education for them, does that make me a terrorist? I made arrangements for medicine and tests for people, does a terrorist do this?” he said.
