Commuters Alert! DMRC Resumes Metro Services On Blue & Pink Line From Today; Check Routes, Timings Here

Metro services resumed operations on its Blue Line (Line 3/4) from Dwarka Sector 21 to Electronic City/Vaishali from September 9, 2020.

Delhi Metro news: After being suspended for about five months due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Metro services in the national capital are Back with full pace. After kick starting the Delhi metro services on Yellow Line from September 7, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is now back on the run on Blue Line and Pink Line from Wednesday (September 9). ALSO READ | 'We Are On Our Way', Says DMRC As Delhi Metro Resumes Services After 169 Days; Trains On Aqua Line Start In Noida In an official statement released on Tuesday, DMRC reportedly said "As part of stage-I of graded resumption of metro services, Delhi metro will resume operations after 171 days on its Blue Line - from Dwarka Sec 21 to Electronic City/Vaishali & Pink Line - from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar from tomorrow."
As quoted by the news agency ANI, the officials said that the reopening of the two lines will ensure availability of nine of the existing 28 interchange metro stations from tomorrow. These include: Rajouri Garden, INA Delhi Haat, Mayur Vihar Phase – I, Karkarduma, Rajiv Chowk, Yamuna Bank, Anand Vihar ISBT, Azadpur and Sikanderpur.
Metro Services On Blue Line As per the latest announcement, Metro services resumed operations on its Blue Line (Line 3/4) from Dwarka Sector 21 to Electronic City/Vaishali from September 9, 2020. The trains will run in two slots of fours hours each. In the morning, metro services will be available from 7 AM to 11 AM. In the evening, the trains will run from 4 PM to 8 PM. Metro Services On Pink Line DMRC will operate metro trains on its Pink Line (Line 7) from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar from September 9, 2020. The trains will run in two slots of fours hours each. In the morning, metro services will be available from 7 AM to 11 AM. In the evening, the trains will run from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Metro Services On Red, Green & Violet Line In addition to above lines, DMRC in its planned stage 1 will resume metro train services on Red Line, Green Line and Violet Line from Thursday September 10. As per the schedule, Metro trains will run on Red Line (Line 1) from Rithala to Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda (Ghaziabad) from Thursday morning - 7 AM to 11 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM in the evening. On Green Line (Line 5), trains will be operational from Kirti Nagar/Inderlok to Brig Hosihar Singh (Bahadurgarh). Commuters will be able to board the trains from 7 AM to 11 AM in the morning and 4 PM to 8 PM in the evening. On Violet Line (Line 6), trains will be operational from Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh). Passengers will be able to board the trains from 7 AM to 11 AM in the morning and 4 PM to 8 PM in the evening.
