A new set of Vande Bharat Express trains will be introduced in India on the Delhi-Dehradun route. On May 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new route's train.
India is all set to receive a new set of Vande Bharat Express trains on the Delhi-Dehradun route. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the train on the new route on May 25 (Thursday). Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the news via Twitter. With the start-up of this train, Uttarakhand will have its first semi-high-speed train unit. Meanwhile, the locomotive will be added to the list of Vande Bharat trains that run from Delhi to cities such as Jaipur, Bhopal, and others.

Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express: Travel Time, Stoppage And Fare
The unit on this route, like all Vande Bharat Trains, will significantly reduce travel time between the two cities. The fastest train on this route currently takes about 6 hours, whereas the semi-high speed train will take about 5 hours. There are currently seven trains that run between Delhi and Dehradun. Among the services on the list are the Shatabdi, Janshatabdi, Uttaranchal Express, Mussoorie Express, Dehradun-Indore Express, Ujjaini Express, and Nanda Devi AC Superfast Express.
During its journey, the Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will stop at several tourist destinations. While travelling between the national capital and Dehradun, it is expected to make stops in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, and Haridwar. However, there has been no confirmation of the route.
The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express schedule will be released soon. However, it is expected to begin service at 5 PM from Delhi and 8 AM from Dehradun.
Indian Railways has not yet released specific fare information. According to reports, taking an AC chair car from New Delhi to Dehradun and vice versa will cost Rs 915. The AC executive chair car may cost around Rs 1,425 in fare.
