Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari’s house attacked by 8-10 miscreants, 2 arrested
New Delhi: In an outrageous incident, Delhi Bharatiya Janta Party Chief Manoj Tiwari’s house was attacked by unidentified miscreants on Sunday night.
The incident ‘luckily’ took place when Tiwari was out for a dinner. As per reports, eight to ten people attacked Tiwari’s residence in North Avenue. They first thrashed Tiwari’s helpers and thereafter got inside the house asking for him.
As per the workers, the miscreants were hurling abuses and while they were searching for Tiwari in the whole house.
After getting thrashed by the miscreants, his workers called Tiwari and narrated the incident. Post which Tiwari called the DCP and filed a complaint. Cops hint at road rage incident behind matter: After taking two people into custody, Delhi cops suspect a road rage is the reason behind the incident. As per cops, Tiwari's Scorpio car collided with a Santro, which angered the Santro driver who in-turn reached out for Tiwari at his residence. Tiwari calls it life-threatening conspiracy: Tiwari, who looked very disturbed after the incident believes it was a conspiracy behind him. He also said that, “there is a probability that the police personnel involved in the incident were not real”. He added saying , “An MP’s house, which a few metres away from the police station is attacked”. Tiwari also demanded that the accused must not be spared and should be arrested as soon as possible”. ABP News image Tiwari also added that the incident raises a lot of questions. The MP is likely to hold a meeting with Home Minister Rajnath Singh regarding the same. The police have registered a case and further details are awaited.
