Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that decisions and policies taken in the last nine years show that they have taken the country in the right direction. He was addressing the inaugural event of the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) complex at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan on Wednesday. PM Modi inaugurated the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) complex and unveiled its new name, Bharat Mandapam. The revamped complex was developed at a cost of about Rs 2,700 crore and has a campus area of approximately 123 acres, PTI reported.

Notably, the IECC complex has been developed as India's largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination. The IECC Complex finds its place among the top exhibition and convention complexes in the world in terms of the covered space available for events.
