Caught On Camera: Four Including Driver Abducted From Former BJP MP's Flat In Delhi
Delhi News: BJP leader and former MP AP Jitendra Reddy tweeted that he is hopeful of quick action and speedy justice in the case.
Delhi Crime News: Three guests and the driver of BJP leader and former MP from Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency AP Jitendra Reddy were allegedly abducted from their residence in the South Avenue area of the national capital. The Delhi Police gave this information on Tuesday.
Police received a complaint claiming that four persons living in Reddy's central Delhi flat had been abducted by a few unidentified persons. Three of them were guests of the former MP and Tilak Thapa was his driver.
A senior police officer said that a case has been registered under section 365 of the Indian Penal Code at South Avenue police station, and the matter is under investigation.

Jitendra Reddy informed about the incident on Twitter. The former MP wrote- "A shocking incident has taken place at my residence in Delhi. My personal driver Thapa and social worker Ravi Munur were kidnapped last night. I have lodged a complaint with the concerned police department ."

The former MP also tweeted a video in this regard. In this video of 1 minute 15 seconds, it can be seen that some people are going in the car. In a Facebook post, the former MP said it looks like four-five unidentified persons are involved in the kidnapping.
The BJP leader tweeted that he hoped for quick action and speedy justice in the case. A police officer of news agency ANI said that an FIR has been lodged at South Avenue police station under section 365 (kidnapping of a person) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the case is under investigation.
