BSF Distributes Sweets On Indo-Pak And Bangladesh Border On The Occasion Of Bakrid
On the Indo-Pak border in Barmer, Rajasthan, soldiers of both countries distributed sweets to each other on the occasion of Bakrid.
Bakrid is one of the most important festivals of Islam religion and is celebrated with great pomp across the country. On this occasion people are seen congratulating each other. Meanwhile, Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistani Rangers shared happiness with each other by giving sweets to each other on the India and Pakistan International Border in Barmer district of Rajasthan. During this, the soldiers of both countries were seen following the Covid-19 rules.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, people could not celebrate the festival of Bakrid with much enthusiasm last year. However, this year also it is necessary to follow the Covid-19 rules. Today, on the occasion of Bakrid, there is a lot of movement across the country. At the same time, happiness is being shared by the soldiers on the border.

Sweets were also distributed on the Indo-Bangladesh border on the occasion of Bakrid.
Today on the occasion of Bakrid in Fulbari, West Bengal the 51st Battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel distributed sweets on the Indo-Bangladesh border. The South Bengal Frontier BSF exchanged sweets and greetings with Border Guard Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha at Partrapole, ICP, and other border posts.
Both the Border Guarding Forces share a cordial relationship. It also helps in building and strengthening cordial relations. In a statement issued on behalf of the BSF, it was told that it has been a long-standing tradition between the two security forces to establish a relationship of cordiality by exchanging sweets on the occasion of festivals in both countries. Due to this, the relationship between the two countries will deepen in the coming times.
