BSF apprehends youth in Punjab's Ferozepur on suspicion of spying

This has come at a time when the border areas are at high alert as the tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack, which was carried out by Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist; who claimed the lives of 40 Indian soldiers.

Chandigarh: The BSF on Friday detained a youth from the border belt of Ferozepur in Punjab on suspicion of spying, police sources said. The youth, said to be around 21-years-old, was being questioned by the Border Security Force (BSF) and other agencies.  A mobile phone has been recovered from his possession with Pakistani phone numbers. The investigators said the detainee's social media accounts showed he has links to Islamic groups. Ferozepur is around 275 km from here. The investigators are currently questioning the boy and are trying to know about his whereabouts. More details on the same are awaited. Punjab: BSF in Ferozepur has arrested an Indian national near border out post, Maboke&seized a mobile phone with Pakistani SIM card, in use, from his possession. The number is added to 8 Pak groups. 6 other Pak phone numbers also retrieved from him. The man is from Moradabad (UP)

The same was followed by an action by Indian Air Force who destroyed terror camps in Pakistan by carrying out air strikes.
