'BJP-RSS Doing New Drama': Asaduddin Owaisi Takes Swipe At Mohan Bhagwat's Visit To Delhi Madrasa

Owaisi criticised BJP and RSS on Saturday for "doing new drama" in the current dispute over surveys of madrasas and their destruction. He highlighted Bhagwat's visit to a madrasa as a dig at "duality"

Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen, criticised Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Saturday for "doing new drama" in the current dispute over surveys of madrasas and their demolition. Owaisi highlighted Mohan Bhagwat's visit to a Delhi madrasa as a dig at the "duality" of the RSS leader, reported news agency ANI. He made these comments following Bhagwat's visit to Azad Market Madrasa Tajweedul Quran in Old Delhi on September 22, where Bhagwat talked with the kids and offered them some advise.

"BJP-RSS is now doing a new drama. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat went to a madrasa in Delhi but madrasas are being demolished in Assam, a survey is being done in Uttar Pradesh," Owaisi said, quoted by the news agency.

The AIMIM chief also slammed the BJP and said, "BJP doesn't have anything to show. They will only show Hindus-Muslims fighting with each other." Owaisi's remarks came while addressing a public meeting in Ahmedabad.
