Ayodhya Ram Temple Inauguration: When And Where To Watch The Pran Pratistha Ceremony
Ahead of the opening ceremony, the grand temple has been adorned with vibrant flowers and illuminated with special lights, creating a captivating ambiance.
The much-awaited 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla at the Ayodha Ram Mandir will take place on Monday (January 22), after a prolonged wait of 500 years.
Ahead of the opening ceremony, the grand temple has been adorned with vibrant flowers and illuminated with special lights, creating a captivating ambiance.
The 'Pran Pratisha' of Ram Lalla will begin at 12.20 pm and is expected to end by 1 pm on Monday. The Vedic rituals had already started from January 16, a week before the main ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the ceremonial enthronement of the idol of Shri Ram Lalla inside the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple.
A host of leaders and dignitaries from all walks of life, including Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, and sporting icons Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, have been invited to the grand temple opening in Ayodhya.
The temple complex will be opened to people from January 23 onwards.
The grand event will be broadcast live across different platforms in the country.
When And Where To Watch
The entire ceremony will be broadcast live on DD News and DD National channels of Doordarshan. Doordarshan will also share feeds with other news agencies.
For other national and international broadcasters, Doordarshan will share a YouTube link.
The national broadcaster has installed nearly 40 cameras at various locations in Ayodhya, including the new Ram temple complex, for live coverage of the consecration ceremony which will be broadcast in cutting-edge 4K technology, a top official told PTI.
"Like the G20...when we had done 4K transmission, this time also, Doordarshan will do it in 4K (broadcast technology).... The entire coverage will be live and broadcast in different languages, and on different channels. And, private channels will also get the feed via Doordarshan," Ministry of Information and Broadcasting secretary Apurva Chandra told PTI.
