In a rare event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi halted his speech midway as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker fainted during his election rally in Assam’s Tamulpur. As per reports, the BJP worker lost consciousness reportedly due to dehydration.
“The PMO medical team, please go and see the worker who is facing issues due to dehydration. The doctors, who have come with me, please help him immediately,” he said in between his speech during an election rally in the state.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister continued his diatribe against the Congress-led opposition in Assam stating only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) works for everybody while alleging some parties divide the country for their vote banks.
Reaching out to the people of the state, he said the BJP is committed to implement the Assam Accord.
Voting for the first and second phases was held on March 27 and April 1. Polling for the third and final phase in Assam will be held on April 6 for 40 seats.
