Arvind Kejriwal To Meet AAP MLAs Today, Alleges BJP Plotting To Dislodge Delhi Govt

According to ANI, Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj Wednesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of allegedly offering Rs 20 crore to some AAP MLAs.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called a meeting of his party MLAs at his residence today. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 11 am in which the current political scenario, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raid against Sisodia over alleged corruption in Delhi Excise Policy, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) action on the party leaders is to be discussed, reported news agency ANI.

Moreover, the Kejriwal-led Delhi government has called a special session of the Assembly Friday amid a face-off with BJP over charges that the saffron party is trying to 'poach' its MLAs.

On Wednesday too the Delhi Chief Minister had called for a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee at his residence.

Several AAP leaders have leveled allegations against the BJP of trying to overthrow the Delhi government by breaking its MLAs to its side.

According to news agency ANI, Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bharadwaj in a press conference in Delhi Wednesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of offering Rs 20 crore to some AAP MLAs for bringing down the government.

"BJP offered to bring down Kejriwal's government by luring AAP MLAs with Rs 20-20 crores... slogans of '50 Khokha-50 Khokha' were raised in Maharashtra Assembly, hence I would say to the BJP Band karo desh se dhokha, nahi chalega 50 khoka," said Bharadwaj.

However, BJP declined making any such offer to AAP MLAs and said it out of frustration that Kejriwal and his party are levelling such allegations against them, reported ANI.

Earlier on Monday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia alleged that he had received an offer by the Bharatiya Janata Party to split the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
