Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022: The selection process will be held in two phases and only those candidates who clear Phase 1 will be eligible to appear for Phase 2.
Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022: Amid the ongoing protests over Centre's newly launched Agnipath scheme, the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Friday started registration for the first batch of Agniveers for the new military recruitment plan. According to an official notification, the online examination for the same will be held exactly one month later i.e. on July 24. "Registration process for the first batch of Agniveers will start from June 24. The Phase 1 online examination process would start on July 24. The first batch would be enrolled by December and training would commence by December 30," Air Marshal SK Jha said during the joint press conference of the tri-services held on June 19.
The Indian Air force has also released a list of all important dates for applicants interested in applying to Indian Air Force under the Agneepath Scheme. The candidates can apply online for this scheme directly through their official website - careerindianairforce.cdac.in.

The recruitment process, which started at around 10 am today saw around 3,800 registrations till 5:30 pm.
The phase 1 recruitment process through Agnipath Yojana 2022 will end on July 5. After their enrollment into the IAF, Agniveers will be governed under the Air Force Act 1950, for four years.
The selection process will be held in two phases and only those candidates who clear Phase 1 will be eligible to appear for Phase 2, IAF stated in its statement.
Indian Air Force Agnipath Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Indian Air Force under Agnipath Yojana 2022 must have at least Class 10th or matriculation passing certificate, intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent mark sheet or 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma Final Year Mark sheet.
The age group must be between 17.5 years to 21 years

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of online test which will followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT). After the PFT, candidate will have to go through Adaptability Test-I and Adaptability Test-II followed by a Medical Examination.
