ABP Sting Operation Impact: Delhi BJP Expels 'Corrupt' Councillors After Captured Accepting Money On Camera

The husbands of many councillors were captured on camera demanding money at various places.

New Delhi: An undercover team of ABP News conducted the biggest sting operation of the year at eight places in the national capital.

The sting operation revealed how capitalists of Delhi are looting the country’s money.

Speaking on this sensational revelation and sting operation conducted by ABP News, Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Adesh Gupta said that the party has expelled those councilors from membership.

Responding to a poser on the councillors stand exposed now, Gupta said that his party has a zero tolerance policy regarding corruption.

“We are currently checking the facts. At the same time, the councilors, who have been seen in the video, have been expelled from the membership of the party with immediate effect,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Delhi BJP chief visited the Hanuman temple at Connaught Place with his family members on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.

He said Lord Hanuman blesses everyone, adding he wishes the entire Delhi to be prosperous.

“I visited with my family members. I extend my greetings to the people of Delhi on the occasion,” he added.

Commenting on the Azaan-Hanuman Chalisa row, Gupta said the matter of dispute does not arise from the side of the Hindu society.

“The time is fixed in the temple but the volume of Azaan is high. With this voice, the students also have trouble in reading,” he added.
