ABP-CNX Opinion Poll, WB Election: As polling for the first phase of the Bengal Assembly is scheduled to take place on Saturday, ABP News in collaboration with CNX has conducted a survey to understand the mood and perception of the people. Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) have locked horns and are making every last-ditch effort to woo voters. Who Can Win - The Big Question?
While taking the survey it is to be understood that the respondents share a candid opinion and the overall result is just an imitation of their perception. On being asked which political party is likely to win the upcoming Assembly polls in West Bengal, 43.61% of the people felt that BJP can come into power in the eastern state. However, the margin is razor blade thin as TMC boasted 42.05% of the positive response.

VOTE SHARE
When the same set of respondents were asked which political party will they vote for in the upcoming Assembly polls, TMC emerged as the favourite as 40.07% said they will vote for Mamta Banerjee. BJP garnered the support of 37.75% of voters who said that their favourites are the saffron party.
Meanwhile, on being asked if the respondents want to see a change in the government 47.28% said they do witness the change. Contrary to the actual vote share ABP-CNX Opinion Poll is predicting that the majority of people want a change of government in the state but TMC is still slightly ahead as anti-TMC votes are divided between BJP and INC+.
SEAT PROJECTION
As per the latest ABP CNX Survey, TMC is nearing the mark of making the government in the state for the 3rd time but is not finishing the job all throughout. TMC can land 136 to 146 seats, while the BJP is snarling down their neck, it is estimated that they might bag between 130 to 140 seats.
Legislative Assembly elections for 294 seats of West Bengal are scheduled to be held between 27 March to 29 April 2021 in 8 phases and votes will be counted on 2 May 2021.
