The team which arrived in Arwal district to cover ground details and gauge the mood of the voters was attacked by anti-social elements who still remain unidentified

New Delhi: ABP News  anchor Akhilesh Anand was heckled and later attacked by an unruly crowd at Bihar’s Arwal last night while he was conducting the ‘Kaun Banega Mukhyamantri’ programme ahead of the Bihar assembly elections. The incident clearly displays how rule of law has gone for a toss in Arwal as the crowd did not seem to back off despite knowing that they are being captured in the team’s camera. The team which arrived in Arwal district to cover the ground details and gauge the mood of the voters,  was attacked by a crowd of anti-social elements who still remain unidentified. Though, the spokesperson of both Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal United have criticized the attack at ABP News’ team, any action hasn’t been taken so far. JDU, BJP and RJD workers had gathered in a large number at the event along with workers and supporters of other parties. Soon the parties started shouting slogans in support of their leaders, while some of the men tried to rough up Anand. Anchor Akhilesh Anand, along with his team, rushed towards the car to avoid the attack. But the attackers hurled stones at the car and tried to break the panes of the vehicle. Watch Here:
