AAP takes jibe at Amarinder Singh via song, sings 'Captain ji tumne kho di apni bhi jitne izzat thi bachi'

New Delhi: In a new and rather entertaining way the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has attacked the Congress party's Chief Ministerial candidate in Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh via a tuneful song. AAP's Punjab unit through a new song made a political attack of the Congress veteran. AAP leader Dilip Pandey has sung this song the lyrics of which are like this-"Captain ji Campatin ji, tumne khodi apne bhi jitne izzat thi bachi ...Captain ji Campatin ji." The song also find mention of newly inducted Congress member Navjot Singh Sidhu. Captain Amarinder Singh declared CM candidate by Rahul Gandhi Captain Amarinder Singh was recently declared CM candidate by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi during a rally. Captain was Chief Minister of Punjab from 2002 to 2007 and presently is the sitting president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC). He was also the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the 16th Lok Sabha till 2016. He had defeated the prominent BJP leader Arun Jaitley in General election of 2014. Punjab legislative assembly election 2017 The Punjab legislative assembly election will be held on 04 February 2017 to select the 117 members of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. On 11 March, the results of the election will be announced. Presently, the alliance of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is ruling the state with Parkash Singh Badal as the Chief Minister.
