Yes! It’s the Google result page that throws the weird search information on search for ‘Rashid Khan wife’. However, there is a reason behind this confusion in the search bar that yielded result showing Anushka Sharma as the cricketer’s wife. Let us first know about the cricketer whose search prompted this confusion. Who’s Rashid Khan? Rashid Khan is an Afghan cricketer and the current vice-captain of the team. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match against India in June 2018. A year later he headed the team in the one-off Test against Bangladesh. He emerged as the youngest cricketer to captain a Test match side at the age of 20. According to reports, the 22 year old cricketer was recently asked in an Instagram QnA to answer about his favourite female actors. Then the cricketer mentioned Anushka and Priety Zinta as his favourite actresses. He started trending and the information spread like a wild fire over the internet which caused the Google search engine to goof up. What’s the gaffe? On typing the ‘Rashid Khan wife’ on the Google search bar, the name of Anushka Sharma’s appears in the results page. Her name is then followed by information on Rashid which mentioned his marital status as, ‘Married’. The wife’s name is written as Anushka Sharma. As for the Marriage Date column, her wedding date with Virat Kohli is mentioned December 11, 2017. What’s the truth? Bollwood actress Anushka is married to Indian cricket star, Virat Kohli. The couple are also expecting their first child together.  The actress also watch the current match between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings IPL 2020 match on Saturday. Recently, Anushka got involved in a controversy after Sunil Gavaskar, in his commentary of the match, implied that Virat’s poor form was because he was out of practice during the lockdown and was only being bowled to by his wife.
