Xiaomi Redmi 4 launch date revealed: Expected specs, features and more

NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has recently announced the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Redmi 4 during its event, to be held on Nov 4. Appeared in a couple of rumours lately, the smartphone may be a low-cost, budget friendly variant, dubbed the Redmi 4. The smartphone was reported first by Android Headlines after Xiaomi posted a poster that teased the launch of a new smartphone on Nov 4 on its Weibo account. Looking at the teaser poster, we can see that the left corner of the Redmi 4 is being shown, which appears to be in black colour. It seems like we might also get a 2.5D curved glass in the front along with thin bezels, metal frame and antenna bands. This is pretty much how Xiaomi device smartphone are being made so far. The Redmi 4 may feature a 5 inch display screen, while being powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and 13 MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera modules. The device also features a 4,000 mAh battery. Along with this, a few rumours suggest the launch of Redmi 4’s lighter variant dubbed as the Redmi 4A, which may sport a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM, while being powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad Core Processor. On the camera department, users get a 13 MP sensor in the rear while a 5 MP sensor fills up the front facing camera module.
