PUBG mobile update: All the gaming enthusiasts who insanely play PlayerUnknown's Battleground, popularly called as PUBG, here's a good news for you. Tencent Games has announced a new update for PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS. The PUBG Mobile 0.80 update has brought Sanhok map along with new weapons and vehicles. The new 0.8.0 update adds a new mini-map – Sanhok – which was earlier only available in Xbox and PC versions of the game.  The latest version is available for all users. Due to this update, PUBG Mobile’s servers was pulled down yesterday. Therefore, if you were thinking over why exactly were you not able to login into account, then you should know that since the Sanhok map 0.8.0 update is bringing some major changes to PUBG, the servers were pulled down maintenance. However, the maintenance is completed now and the server is back online.

Besides, the update in the pickup settings where users can now customise the quantity, the new version has also come up with anti-cheating measures. According to Tencent Games, it has improved the plug-in recognition on PUBG Mobile. The game will also have a report button on more pages. As of now, the full patch notes for the update has not released yet. Till then, interested users can check this Reddit link for the unofficial patch notes. Some of them are mentioned below: 1) New map and features • The new rainforest map “Sanhok” is open, players can choose the rainforest map to match in the map selection. • Added "Season Archive" function, which can be accessed in the game season interface to view the data of previous seasons. 2) New vehicles Bulletproof UAZ jeep and Muscle car are now available 3) New guns and accessories • Added the QBZ assault rifle, use 5.56mm bullets, randomly placed around Sanhok. • Added a flare gun to signal a super airdrop. Can be summoned in the play zone, and a Bulletproof UAZ can be summoned outside the play zone, which will be in the classic mode for a limited time. • Duckbill muzzle for the S1897 and S12K, which greatly reduces the vertical spread of shotgun bullets and increases horizontal spread. 4) Optimizations • Reduce the additive effect of the accessories on the lumbar spread. • Adjusted the range of shotgun bullets, the bullets will be more densely distributed. • The bullet can penetrate water and hit enemies underwater, but the damage will be less. • The M24 sniper rifle will be removed from the airdrop and will be randomly placed around the map, but the damage is balanced to 79. • The negative effect of the light grip is removed, and the effect is to greatly improve the shooting stability and improve the recoil recovery.
