OnePlus ‘Budget’ Smartphone With Snapdragon 460 Likely To Be Launched By 2020 End. Know Expected Price And Other Details

If the expected OnePlus budget phone is priced below Rs20,000 it will compete with the existing brands including Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, Samsung Galaxy M21 and even the Moto G9.

New Delhi: OnePlus has already garnered a lot of interest among the smartphone users with the launch of Nord, and it is prepping up to target the ‘budget phone’ users with new launches in the cheaper phone category. It is likely to launch a new budget phone for the Indian market which may feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 or 665 SoC. Know The Full Specifications, Price Here According to the leaks, as mentioned in the technology website BGR.in, a third device from the OnePlus Nord Series has surfaced which is likely to be priced between Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000. With this new phone, the OnePlus will mark an entry in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment for the first time since OnePlus X in 2015. The ‘budget’ OnePlus phone is likely to attract positive reviews like the OnePlus Nord, which has offered a premium OnePlus phone experience with a Snapdragon 7 series SoC inside costing under Rs 30,000. When is it expected to launch? As per the leaks, the budget OnePlus phone is likely to be launched by September or in October. If the reports are found to be true and it is launched, then OnePlus may continue to roll out cheaper phones going ahead. The launch could also take place around Diwali in middle of November.
So far the leaks from the brand hinted at three new OnePlus phones with low-end hardware. It will be the second 4G smartphone from OnePlus expected this year. As per the current leaks, there is an indication regarding its processor and pricing. If it is priced below Rs 20,000, the expected OnePlus budget phone will compete with the brands including Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, Samsung Galaxy M21 and even the Moto G9. At present, the Nord is the cheapest OnePlus phone available in India. It starts at Rs 24,999 and offers the Oxygen OS experience. It runs on a Snapdragon 765G chipset and offers up to 12GB RAM. There’s a 90Hz AMOLED 6.5-inch display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. You also get the 30W fast charging and the 48-megapixel OIS camera sensor from the OnePlus 8.
