Honor 9N with 18:9 display launched in India: Specifications, price and features

Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, on Tuesday announced the launch of its "Honor 9N" smartphone, which comes with a "stylish notch" at an affordable price.

The Honor 9N also comes with a 2.5D curved glass design with 12 Layers of Glass and a Nano coating finish for a mirror-like effect.

NEW DELHI: Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, on Tuesday announced the launch of its "Honor 9N" smartphone, which comes with a "stylish notch" at an affordable price. The Honor 9N is built with 12 Layer glass coating giving the smartphone a smooth, mirror-like finish, thus, giving it a very glossy and premium look. "The Honor 9N will surely redefine the definition of beauty within the Indian Smartphone market. We hope that our young audience appreciates the capabilities of the Honor 9N and supports our efforts in making this No Ordinary Beauty a success in India," P Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei India-Consumer Business Group, said Honor 9N is equipped with narrow Notch Display design with 14.84cm, 2280x1080 FHD+ resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio and 79% screen to body ratio for more screen space with minimum bezel experience. According to Honor, the Notch display design provides more screen size which is used for displaying additional information like date, time, battery statics and other apps notifications. The Honor 9N also comes with a 2.5D curved glass design with 12 Layers of Glass and a Nano coating finish for a mirror-like effect. The smartphone sports dual rear camera (13MP+2MP) and 16MP selfie camera. The front shooter is equipped with the portrait mode feature that can identify the face of the user in the image and achieve accurate Bokeh effects. The Honor 9N also comes with AR Lens, adding funny cosplay and quirky background to add more fun element to the pictures. Additionally, the 'Capture First, Focus Later' mode will give users an opportunity to focus on the right details after they have clicked the picture. The Honor 9N will be available in four colour variants: Lavender Purple, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Robin Egg Blue. It will be available exclusively on e-commerce platform Flipkart from 31st July at 12 noon onwards. Also, available on Honor official store hihonor.com/in. The Honor 9N will be available in three variants: 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage at Rs 11,999, 4GB RAM+64GB onboard storage at Rs 13,999 and 4GB RAM+128GB internal storage variant at Rs 17,999.
