DDA Housing Scheme 2021: Draw Results To Be Out Soon; Here's How To Watch The Live Telecast
DDA Housing Scheme 2021 Draw: People can view the live telecast of the draw on March 10th 2021 from 11 AM.
New Delhi: On Friday, March 5th 2021, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) announced that the draw for allotment of housing units under the DDA Housing Scheme 2021 will be conducted on March 10.
A notice issued by DDA read "Delhi Development Authority is going to conduct the draw for allotment of flats under DDA Housing Scheme 2021 on 10.03.2021 at 11.00 A.M. onwards. The draw of allotment of flats will be based on random number generation system and will be held in the presence of Hon’ble Judges, and Senior Officers of DDA. "

The notice also said that people can view the live telecast of the draw on March 10th at 11 AM by visiting - dda.webcast.ml.
There are 1,354 flats on offer and till last dated of submission that is, February 16th 2021 they received over 33,000 applications since the scheme was launched in January 2nd 2021 according to media reports. Applicants who meet necessary criteria were also eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana subsidy scheme. The flats are mostly in the high-income and middle-income group categories, located in Dwarka and Jasola. There are around 230 are HIG flats in Dwarka and Vasant Kunj, and 704 are MIG category flats in Jasola and Dwarka. While the MIG flats will be around 120 to 130 square feet are the HIG flats will be 150 to 170 square feet area. Out of the total, 275 flats located in Manglapuri and Dwarka are for the economically weaker sections. LIG flats are located in Rohini. The flats range from Rs.27.5 lakh to Rs.2.14 crore. While the HIG flats in Jasola cost Rs.2.1 crore, the MIG flats are priced at Rs.1.2 crore.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic to make the process accessible for people, the scheme was made to completely online, done through the newly developed AWAAS software of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) from processing of application to possession of flats. In January, the scheme was virtually launched by DDA Vice Chairman Anurag Jain.
