Details Of Covid-19 Hot Spots In Lucknow And Varanasi That Will Remain Sealed Till April 15

The 15 districts in Uttar Pradesh include Gautambuddh Nagar (Noida), Ghaziabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi, Shamli, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Bulandhshahr, Bareilly, Basti, Maharajganj and Sitapur.

Coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh: With the number of coronavirus cases spurting to almost 350 in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday said all COVID-19 hotspots in 15 districts will be sealed till April 15. The 15 districts include Gautambuddh Nagar (Noida), Ghaziabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi, Shamli, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Bulandhshahr, Bareilly, Basti, Maharajganj and Sitapur.   • Mohammadiya Masjid - Wazirganj
  • Ahmediya Masjid - Shahadatganj
  • Al Hayat Masjid - Madiyaon
  • Rajauli Masjid - Gudamba
  • Nazarbagh Masjid - Kaiserbagh
  • Lal Masjid, Alam Nagar, Talkatora
  • Khajur Wali Masjid - Triveni Nagar
  • Masjid Aliganj, Sadar
  • Mohammadi Masjid - Charbagh

  • Baajardiha
  • Madanpura
  • Lohta
  • Gangapur
  • Four areas of Varanasi were already sealed earlier
  • Lohta reported one Coronavirus positive patient
  • Bajardiha had repored 1 female Coronavirus infected patient
  • Madanpura reported two
  • 9 persons in totally have been Corona infected of which two have recovered
Speaking on sealing the hot spot zones, DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi said, “A cluster has been created in the affected hotspots and sanitation drive will start soon. Passes issued here will be canceled. People will not come out at these places. The exit of people in these areas will be banned. The logo will be marked. By barricading they will be made zero zones and they will be provided 100 per cent of door step delivery. He said 104 hot spots in those 15 districts have been identified. So far India has reported 5,194 cases with close to 350 cases in Uttar Pradesh. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Telangana and Kerala are among the worst affected states. In response to the rise in covid 19 cases, the Uttar Pradesh government had already reserved 20,000 beds in hospitals and private buildings to create isolation wards. In an all-party meeting with chief ministers and Opposition others, Prime Minister has hinted at lifting of the lockdown is unlikely. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to quarantine migrant workers returning to state after the massive exodus from the capital. Yogi Adityanath has also interacted with journalists in the state through video conference in the state updating them about the state’s preparedness in fighting the coronavirus outbreak.He has been taking several proactive measures to contain the spread of virus in the state.
