CNG Price Increased By Rs 2 Per Kg In Delhi-NCR From Today, Fourth Hike This Month — Check Latest Rates

New Delhi: The Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs 2 per kilogram in Delhi-NCR, with effect from Sunday, May 15, at 6 am IST.
In less than six weeks, the CNG price has risen by Rs 17.6 per kilogram in the national capital.
CNG is now priced at Rs 73.61 per kilogram in Delhi, Rs 76.17 per kilogram in Noida, and Rs 81.94 per kilogram in Gurugram, news agency ANI reported.
Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has hiked the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Delhi by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 73.61 per kg.

This is the fourth price hike in the month of May, and the 11th since March 7.
The IGL has hiked gas prices in other parts of the country, including Rewari, Karnal, Kaithal, Kanpur, Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Ajmer, Pali, and Rajsamand.
CNG is retailing at a price of Rs 84.07 in Rewari, Rs 82.27 in Karnal and Kaithal, Rs 85.40 in Kanpur, Hamirpur, and Fatehpur, and Rs 83.88 in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand after the hike.
In October last year, domestic as well as international gas prices started to rise. Since then, the city gas distributors have been periodically raising prices.
On Thursday, May 12, the price of CNG in the national capital was hiked by Rs 2.5 per kilogram and that of piped cooking gas by Rs 4.25 per unit. After this increase, CNG was priced at Rs 71.61 per kilogram in the national capital, according to the information posted on the website of IGL.
