Amit Shah To Embark On 2-Day Bengal Trip
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will go on a two-day visit to West Bengal on Thursday. During this, Shah will visit forward areas along the Indo-Bangladesh border, address a public meeting and interact with BJP MPs, MLAs and party functionaries from West Bengal.
Shah will also attend a cultural program 'Mukti-Matrika' organised by the Culture Ministry at the prestigious Victoria Memorial in Kolkata on Friday.
Home Minister will flag off a boat ambulance on Thursday morning at a 'floating border out post' (BOP) in the state and would lay the foundation stone of the Friendship Museum at Haridaspur BOP.
Shah will address a public meeting in Siliguri. He said that on Friday, the Home Minister will visit three bighas and interact with Border Security Force (BSF) jawans at Dhekiabari BOP in the Cooch-Bihar district.
Centre To Host 3-Day 'Health Summit' At Gujarat's Kevadia
A three-day summit will be organised at the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya, Gujarat from May 5 to 7. The event will be presided over by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Health ministers of all states and union territories will attend during the three-day meeting.
There will be a detailed discussion on India's fight against Covid and the Centre's initiatives like 'Heal by India and Heal in India', which is a major agenda of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.
According to information received from the news agency ANI, a comprehensive investigation has been done that how some states, succeeding in keeping the number of Covid under control, have also succeeded in promoting the vaccination campaign. The biggest goal is to share effective exercises in the fight against Covid-19 with each other states. The Panchmukhi Doli of Baba Kedarnath will reach its Dham tomorrow morning and the doors of Kedarnath temple will be opened on May 6 at 6:25 am. Kedarnath's floating festival Vigraha Doli reached its last stop Gaurikund on Wednesday.
