Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's wedding date, guest list finalised; details inside

A spectacular bachelor’s party will be thrown by Akash Ambani in St Moritz, Switzerland on February 23, 24 and 25, which is expected to have more than 500 guests including filmmaker Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor.

New Delhi: Dates have reportedly been finalised for Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding, which is one of the most awaited marriages of the year. Reports claim that the eldest son of India’s richest person Mukesh Ambani, will tie the knot with Shloka Mehta the daughter of Indian diamantaire Russel Mehta, just the next month. A lavish wedding ceremony is expected to take place at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex Mumbai on March 9, while a grand reception is scheduled on March 11 at the same venue. The guest list includes the top notch celebrities of the country from the Bollywood and sports, along with the prominent politicians and business tycoons of India. Reports have it that the ‘baraat’ will gather at Trident Hotel in Mumbai at 03:30 pm on Saturday, from where it will leave for Jio World Centre. A high tea party will take place at 06:30 pm and the wedding rituals will commence from 7: 30 pm. The next day (which is a Sunday) is reserved for post-wedding celebrations, which include Mangal Parv, in which the top Celebs of the country will take part. On Monday (March 11), the reception will be hosted, in which both Ambanis and Mehtas will host their close friends and relatives.
