New Delhi: Every year on September 26, the International Federation of Environmental Health observes World Environmental Health Day. This day is intended to raise awareness about environmental health and the steps that must be taken to enhance it. On September 26, 2011, the International Federation of Environmental Health established World Environmental Health Day during a conference in Indonesia. The IFEH was founded in 1986 and has its offices in London. It has 44 member countries and was founded to promote awareness about the health of the environment.

IFEH works for environmental and health preservation and is devoted to these causes. IFEH is dedicated to the sharing of scientific and technological research. The majority of IFEH's activity is scientific and technical in nature.
