New Delhi: Rana Daggubati's old family house in Hyderabad, which has a grand spiral staircase and dreamy sit-out area, has now been converted into a restaurant. His cousin, Aashritha Daggubati, who is the daughter of Rana's uncle, veteran actor Venkatesh, visited their former family home in Hyderabad, which has now been converted into a posh restaurant with chic interiors. She recently shared a video with the actor on her YouTube channel in which she featured the restaurant.
The video begins with a few glimpses of the restaurant and then shows Rana sitting with his sister. There was also a montage when both Rna and his sister were seen pouring cheese on a pizza, as they were making pizza together. The video titled, 'Making Pizza With My Rana Anna'
In the video, Rana is seen welcoming his sister as he says, "Welcome home in a new avatar!" He also tells, "I've lived here for twenty years", and then he asks his sister how long she had lived there, to which she replies that she had been there for three years during her college. Together, they recall all the happy days each of them had spent at the place while giving the audience a tour of the restaurant.
Now, talking about the lavish restaurant, the main entrance featured an antique wooden carving and was flanked by a plethora of plants and trees of various sizes. The walls inside the main structure were a bright yellow colour, and they were adorned with large paintings of Rana's family. A huge painting of a woman gave an exquisite touch to the walls.
As Rana and Aashritha walked around, they noticed the colourful artefacts on the walls, remembering various nooks and rooms belonging to various family members. They recalled the huge dining room as well as the sitting room as well which now has become a part of the restaurant.
The two then walked up a spiral wooden staircase with a brown railing, one of many elements from the original house that had been preserved. Rana remembered the first level of the house as 'his floor,' pointing to his old room. He said, "This bar is where I used to watch all the movies growing up."
He then entered his former bedroom, which now featured statement black chandeliers and additional seating for the restaurant. All air conditioners were covered in wicker to match the brown motif.
After chatting for a while, the two decided to make something before the restaurant filled up. They went to their garden which has now been transformed into 'an awesome bar' as Rana said pointing to a pizza place where they went to make the pizzas.
The garden is lined up with rows of tables and chairs under the sky and is surrounded by a lot of greenery as well. Rana and Aashritha were later joined by the actor's wife Miheeka Bajaj as they ate some pizza made by the cousins.
On the work front, Rana was last seen in the Netflix show 'Rana Naidu' based on the US series 'Ray Donovan'.
