Miss Universe 2023 Winner: Miss Universe USA R'Bonney Gabriel Bags The Crown
R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States bags the title of the Miss Universe 2023 pageant.
New Delhi: The winner of Miss Universe 2023 pageant is R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States. Model, fashion designer, and sewing instructor R'Bonney Gabriel, 28, is also the first Filipino American to win Miss USA.
At the 71st Miss Universe pageant's grand finale, the diva was crowned by Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu. The event took place on January 15 in New Orleans, USA.

In a glittering gown, R'Bonney Gabriel wowed the crowd at the Miss Universe 2022 grand finale. She accessorised her gown with statement jewellery and donned a crystal-studded outfit.
During the finale, Gabriel discussed using fashion as a "power for good" during the round of the top three questions.
"I am cutting down on pollution through recycled materials when I make my clothing. I give sewing classes to women who have survived human trafficking and domestic violence," she said.
The Dominican Republic's Andreina Martinez finished second in the 71st edition of the pageant, with Venezuela's Amanda Dudamel placing first. Divita Rai from Karnataka represented India this year and reached the final 16. For the title of Miss Universe 2022, there were more than 80 competitors.
Meanwhile, Harnaaz Sandhu, the most recent Miss Universe winner, was the third Indian woman to hold the title following Lara Dutta and Sushmita Sen.
The 2023 Miss Universe pageant kicked off at 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, or at 6:30 a.m. IST, on January 15. Indian viewers can watch the stream live on Voot or on the JKN18 channel's official Facebook and YouTube sites. Outside of India, fans can watch the live stream for free at 7 p.m. ET on the Roku Channel website or in Spanish at the same time on Telemundo.
