Ecuadorian Influencer, Landy Parraga Goyburo shared a picture of her lunch on Instagram when two armed men burst into the restaurant and fired several times at her.
Ecuadorian Influencer, Landy Parraga Goyburo, was shot dead after her Instagram post showed her enjoying a plate of octopus ceviche. Reportedly, this post lead her killers to the restaurant in Quevedo city, on April 28, eventually resulting in her murder. As per a report by The Telegraph, the 23-year-old had shared a picture of the dish to her 173,000 followers on Instagram when two armed men burst into the restaurant in Quevedo and fired several times at her.
The police is investigating the case amid specualtions suggesting that the killing was ordered by the widow of a drug lord with whom Landy was believed to have had an affair.
The incident, caught on CCTV, shows the influencer speaking to a man while two gunmen approached the restaurant. Ont of them stood near the entrance, while the second ran towards her and fired, striking both Goyburo and the man she was talking to. The two then ran away from the scene. Reportedly, Landy was shot three times and died.

Landy's Instagram account shows her last post in an orange swimwear. sharing the pictures, she had written, "Life is an echo, what you send out comes back to you."

Getting to know about her death, her fans wrote heartfelt notes in the comments section. One of them said, "What a shame, one more dying to publish where it is in real time!!!!! SOCIAL MEDIA IS AN ENEMY!. May God give comfort to his Family," while another one wrote, "“Life is an echo; what you send out comes back to you.”. The question is, then what did she send to get that back?"
A third comment read, "Walking in bad steps does not bring good things."

Párraga was an Instagram influencer and a beauty queen who captured the fifth position in the 2022 edition of Miss Ecuador.
As per reports in The Telegraph, she is said to have been the lover of Leandro Norero, a married drug trafficker who was killed in a prison riot 18 months ago. Investigators found photos of the beauty queen and evidence of the lavish gifts he gave her, including apartments and cars, on Norero’s phone after his death.
The report also suggests that during Angulo's trial in court, prosecutors revealed that he pleaded to the accountant not to reveal his affair saying, "If my wife comes across anything about her, I’m screwed."
