'More Congress, CPM Leaders To Join BJP': K Surendran After Anil Antony Join's Party

Anil Antony, who earlier left Congress, joined BJP in the presence of Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and V Muraleedharan on Thursday.

On the day Anil Antony, Congress veteran AK Antony's son, joined the BJP, state party chief K Surendran said more and more Congress and CPI(M) leaders will join BJP and follow PM Modi.

K Surendran, BJP Kerala President said, "People in Kerala are very well aware of the developmental agenda of PM Modi. 'Sabka sth, sabka vikaas' is not just a slogan of BJP but people have a lot of faith in this. Common people have accepted PM Modi's developmental agenda."

"PM Modi is a role model for youth. In the coming days, more and more Congress and CPM leaders will join BJP, and more leaders will follow PM Modi. There will be a change in Kerala and BJP will form the government in the state," he said.

Further, Surendran said, even the erudite and highly educated leaders in the Opposition camp are now joining the BJP. We are also approaching several leaders in Congress and the Left to join us, he said.

Stating that BJP did not make electoral inroads in the elections last time, Surendran said that he is hopeful that this time a bigger vote share will be bagged with the support of Christians since the Christian community has demonstrated full faith in Modi-ji's work.
