PM Modi Inaugurates Hospital, Whitefield Metro Line, To Address Rally In Poll-Bound K'taka
On language politics, PM Modi said, "For their political selfishness, for vote-bank politics, some parties played "game" over languages.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his visit to poll-bound Karnataka for inaugurating a hospital, Metro line and addressing a public rally on Saturday.
In his seventh visit of the year, PM inaugurated Whitefield (Kadugodi) to Krishnarajapura line of Bengaluru Metro. He also took a ride in the metro.

Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Chikkaballapur. During the inauguration, he said, "During 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', the country has resolved to develop. Many times people ask how India will develop in such a short time? There are so many challenges, so much work, how will it be completed in such a short time? Everyone's effort is the only answer to this question."

In the poll-bound state, PM said, "For their political selfishness, for vote-bank politics, some parties played "game" over languages. Kannada is a prosperous language. Earlier govts did not take steps towards teaching medical, engineering education in Kannada."
On the healthcare infrastructure, PM said that the effort has been on augmenting India's healthcare infrastructure and the government have given priority to the health of the poor & middle class.
Karnataka is set to witness Assembly polls before May 2023.
