Subsequently, he took her approximately 13 km away from the city to Kunti Betta Hills on his motorcycle. At the Kunti Betta Hills, another quarrel ensued, during which he took out a knife and slit her throat, the officer revealed.

Following the incident, the man hastily fled the scene on his two-wheeler, abandoning the injured woman. Local residents assisted in transporting her to a nearby hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries, according to the police.

The authorities have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, and the accused, Tejas, has been apprehended in connection with the incident.
