Karnataka: 'Sorry' Scribbled In Red, Bold Letters All Over Bengaluru School, Streets. Culprits Yet To Be Traced

New Delhi: The word "sorry" was found to be scribbled in bold red letters all over the premises of a private school, and on the streets surrounding it, in Sunkadakatte area in northwest Bengaluru, on Wednesday, according to a report by news agency ANI.
Initially the locals and school authorities, on finding the word painted in red, suspected it was the work of some students who might have been upset over their issues not being addressed.
"Two bike-borne persons were seen in the CCTV footage. Efforts on to identify and trace them," news agency ANI quoted Dr Sanjeev Patil, DCP of West Bengaluru, as saying.

No complaint on the matter has been lodged yet, police said.
The DCP further said, "We checked the CCTV footage. No complaint has been given. CCTV footage shows two men riding on a bike carrying a big bag usually used by food delivery boys. Then they take the paint out and write 'sorry' all over the area."
Police added that efforts are underway to trace those who were behind the incident.
This act constitutes an offence under the Karnataka Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, the police officials further added.
