BJP's Modi Blitzkrieg In Karnataka: PM To Hold 2 Mega Roadshows, 4 Public Meetings On May 6-7

Karnataka Assembly Elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be doing marathon roadshows and rallies in the state in the coming two days on May 6 and 7.

Karnataka Elections 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing massive election campaigns in Karnataka for the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) as the state prepares to elect a fresh legislative assembly. The Prime Minister will be doing marathon roadshows and rallies in the state in the coming two days on May 6 and 7. Notably, the state is set to go to polls on May 10 while the counting of votes will be done on May 13. As per the official schedule, after addressing a public gathering in Tumkur on May 5, he will take a rest at Rajbhavan in Bengaluru.

Tentatively, on the morning of May 6 at 12:30 pm, the Prime Minister will begin his day with a mega 26-Km roadshow in Bengaluru from Someshwara Bhawan (RBI Ground) Kadu to Malleshwara Temple. He will then address two public meetings, one in Badami at 3 pm and another In Haveri at 5 pm.

On Sunday, May 7, PM Modi will do another roadshow in Bengaluru covering 6.1 km from Kempegowda Statue, New Tippasandra to Trinity Circle, MG Road. It was earlier planned to be a 10-Km long roadshow but taking the interest of students who will be appearing in the exam on May 7, the distance has been reduced.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attacked Congress yet again for using 'abusive' language against him and said that it is nothing but just another way for the grand-old party to seek votes. Addressing a rally in Ankola in the state's Uttara Kannada district for the upcoming assembly polls, the prime minister said that the people of Karnataka will never forgive the abuser adding that people of the state would punish those who abuse.

Taking a jibe at Congress’s manifesto promise of banning ‘Bajrang Dal’, PM Modi said, "When you press the button at the polling booth, punish by shouting Jai Bajrang Bali." He added that Congress always gives false guarantees.

PM Modi said that the coffers of Congress are always full. He said that the opposition only knows 'Gaali politics'. “They cannot defeat us, so they abuse us. The people of Karnataka will reject ‘abuse’ politics and all the voters will teach them a lesson for abusing me”, PM Narendra Modi added.

Talking about the FDI investment in the state, PM Narendra Modi said, "During the Congress JD (S) government, 30,000 crores of foreign investment (FDI) used to come annually. Investment increased to 90,000 thousand crores annually in 3 years after the formation of the double engine government."
