Karnataka: Two Persons Arrested In BJP Youth Leader Praveen Nettaru's Murder Case

After massive protests in Dakshina Kannada in connection with the BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru's murder, Karnataka police on Thursday arrested two persons in Praveen's murder case.
The culprits in Praveen's murder case have been identified as Zakir and Shafique, said Sonawane Rishikesh, Dakshina Kannada SP. Zakir was arrested from Savanur in the Haveri district while Shafiq was taken into custody in Ballare.
Praveen Nettaru Murder Case: Two people, Zakir and Shafique have been arrested. Shafique already has one case on him.

Earlier, Praveen's mother while speaking to media, broke down and demanded that the culprits should be punished. "I'm not feeling well. His father is also a heart patient. He was our only son& planned to build a home for us. Now, who'll build it?... Culprits should be punished, whoever did this must be hanged," teary mother of deceased Praveen Nettaru said, as quoted by news agency ANI.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, protestors expressed their anger over the murder of BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru in Bellare, Dakshina Kannada. In a viral video, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel's car was seen jolted by angry mob in Ballare.
Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said that the government has cancelled the celebration of a year of our government formation, 'Janotsava', in view of Praveen's murder.
Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai condemned the "heinous act" and assured that the culprits will be arrested soon. "It looks like a planned incident bearing similarities to other cases," CM Bommai said.
