Bengaluru: Hindu Man Attacked For Travelling On Bike With Muslim Woman, Two Held

The duo made the woman take an auto back home despite her trying to explain that both were colleagues at a bank.

Chennai: In an act of moral policing, Bengaluru police arrested two persons for attacking a Hindu man for riding back his Muslim colleague clad in a burqa home after work on Saturday. According to a report in The Indian Express, two people waylaid the bike near Dairy Circle on Bannerghatta Road and trashed the man and berated the Muslim woman.

The incident soon went viral on social media. The Deputy Commissioner Of Police (South-East) Joshi Srinath Mahadev said that they have registered a case after the video went viral and arrested two people in connection with the case.
