At Least Three Died & Two Severely Injured In Blast In Bengaluru, Probe On

Suresh, a witness passing by the area said that he could hear a huge blast sound and he had alerted the emergency control room

Bengaluru: At least three persons were reportedly killed and two were severely injured in a blast in Bengaluru's transport company. Later, two fire tenders arrived at the spot and brought the fire under contol.

“There are initial reports of an explosive material being transported by the company, which some say are crackers. But this is preliminary information which needs to be verified," said Bengaluru South DCP, Harish Pandey as quoted by The Hindu.

According to a report in Deccan Herald, Suresh, a witness passing by the incident spot said that a huge blast sound could be heard. "I alerted the fire and emergency control room about the incident. I saw officials reaching the spot carrying three bodies and two other injured persons to hospital. I suspect that it is a blast in the air compressor in a godown but I am not sure," he said as quoted by Deccan Herald.
