Amit Shah Lands In Poll-Bound Karnataka To Take Part In Road Show

Bengaluru: Union Home Minister Amit Shah landed in poll-bound Karnataka's Hubballi-Dharwad and Belagavi region on Friday night to take part in various events including a roadshow in the state.
This is the second visit for Shah in a month. Shah is visiting the Kittur-Karnataka (Mumbai-Karnataka) region, a stronghold of the BJP.
Taking to social media, Amit Shah said, "Landed in Hubballi and excited to meet the people of Karnataka in public meetings and a roadshow scheduled tomorrow ( Saturday). Will participate in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of B.V. Bhoomaraddi College and then lay the foundation stone of the NFSU Karnataka campus in Dharwad."

Amit Shah's schedule
According to PTI, Karnataka BJP General Secretary Mahesh Tenginkai said, "Amit Shah will be arriving and staying in Hubballi on January 27, and on January 28 morning there are two programs, one is KLE's BVB college's 75 years anniversary and inauguration of an indoor stadium, then he will lay the foundation for Forensic Science Laboratory in Dharwad."
Speaking to reporters here, he said Shah will then participate in BJP's 'Vijaya Sankalpa Abhiyana' in Kundagol. "He will also be offering prayers at the ancient Shambulingeshwara temple in Kundagol, which is about 300 years old, after which he will go to ward no. 7 and booth no. 50 of Kundagol to launch Vijaya Sankalpa Abhiyana there by doing a wall painting," Tenginkai said.

After the visit, Amit Shah is scheduled to visit 'Basavanna Devara matha'. Following this, Shah is expected to take part in a "massive road show" of about 1.5 kms stretch in the Kundagol assembly segment. In the event, pamphlet distribution and membership drive by giving missed calls are also likely to be introduced.
Shah is also expected to take part in a rally as part of the 'Jana Sankalpa Yatre'. After the rally, he is also scheduled to attend two meetings to discuss the party matters in Belagavi district.
