RBI set to launch Rs 200 currency notes today

The introduction and the design of the note was made in such a way that it will ease the transactions, replace the spoiled bank notes and the need for combating counterfeiting.

The back side of the note will have a Swachh Bharat logo with the slogan and sanchi stupa motif.

Note will carry portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre and the denominational numeral ‘200’ with the rupee color
