Pradyuman Murder Case: In Shocking Revelation Bus Driver Says, 'There Was No Knife Inside Bus'

The Gurgaon Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the crime also took samples of fingerprints and shoes at the crime scene, including the toilet, a day after recreating the sequence of events there.

New Delhi: There is a new shocking revelation in the Pradyuman murder case as the bus driver has claimed that there was no knife inside the bus, opposite to the claims made earlier. "There was no knife inside the bus," said bus driver Sourabh Raghav whose conductor Ashok Kumar is prime accused in the murder of Pradyuman (7) of the Ryan International School in Gurugram.

"I'm still finding it difficult to believe that the bus conductor can do this," the driver added.

CBI took over the investigation of the case which was earlier registered on September 8 at Police Station Bhondsi, Gurugram under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), 25 of Arms Act, 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and 75 of Juvenile Justice (J.J.) Act r/w Section 34 of IPC. The CBI official further said that a team of the agency has reached Gurugram and will visit the school on Saturday to collect more evidence in the case. (Image: File)

The boy was found with his throat slit and lying in a pool of blood in the washroom of the upmarket Gurgaon school on Friday. Ashok Kumar, one of the school's bus conductors, who allegedly killed the boy while trying to sexually abuse him, was arrested the same day.
