Poonch's NGO provides free treatment to visually-impaired

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], April 6 (ANI): An NGO named Pritam Spiritual Trust based in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district took the responsibility to ensure treatment to some financially weak visually impaired people residing in the district.

The patients accompanied by some of the NGO members were taken to Chandigarh for the eye treatment free of cost.

Chairman of the NGO, Jagbir Singh explained about the treatment and its cost, while highlighting how their NGO has been working for years for the upliftment of the people in the border area.

Some of the patients hailed the efforts taken by the NGO and also expressed their satisfaction at the facilities being given to them. (ANI)
