Childish of Rahul to hug PM: Yogi

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 25 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday termed Congress President Rahul Gandhi's hug to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as immature.

Rahul garnered huge attention after he walked up to the Prime Minister Modi and hugged him on the floor of the house.

"The entire nation has already rejected Rahul Gandhi's childish acts. The no-confidence motion has exposed Congress. The statements and acts of opposition during the motion were immature and reveal their actual personality," Adityanath told ANI.

Though, Rahul's gesture was hailed by his party leaders as "Jaadu ki Jhappi (magical hug)", the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ridiculed him saying he has started "chipko movement" in the Lok Sabha.

Further highlighting the developmental work done by his government, Adityanath said, "I think it's my good fortune that I'm the first Chief Minister who has done survey of entire state in such a short span of time and activated machinery across the state. In 15-16 months, we went to 75 districts, took review meeting of 18 commissionaires and carried developmental work forward." (ANI)
