BJP to raise Santosh's murder in Parliament

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], Feb 3 (ANI): Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar on Saturday averred that the party will raise the issue of the killing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker from J.C. Nagar named Santosh in both the houses of the Parliament.

Ananth and BJP leader Muralidhar Rao also visited the residence of Santosh to offer condolences to the bereaved family.

"The issue of brutal murder of the BJP activist Santosh, who was fighting against Ganja mafia and was involved in many positive activities, will be taken up in both houses of Parliament this budget session," Ananth told the media.

Earlier, the Bengaluru crime branch began an investigation into the matter at Bengaluru's Chinnappa Garden, J.C. Nagar.

According to reports, four men were arrested and the case was handed over to the Central Crime Branch (CCB), following demands for an independent probe.

The 28-year-old BJP worker was returning from a birthday party when four men allegedly attacked him and stabbed him with a screwdriver. He was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. (ANI)
